Celahkotanews.com || Dumai – Pemerintah Kota Dumai Melalui Dinas Kesehatan, Riau menargetkan 6.966 pelajar yang duduk di kelas 1 Sekolah Dasar (SD) jadi sasaran dalam program pekan pemberian imunisasi campak yang akan dimulai pada 8-13 Agustus 2016.
“Program imunisasi campak ini akan menyasar ke seluruh anak didik yang duduk di kelas 1 tingkat SD dan kita menargetkan bisa memvaksin 98 persen pelajar tersebut,” kata Kepala Bidang P2PL Dinas Kesehatan Kota Dumai Romauli di Dumai, kemarin.
Romauli mengatakan pelaksanaan pekan imunisasi campak akan dilakukan dengan mendatangi anak didik langsung ke 110 SD di daerah itu.
Persiapan pelaksanaan imunisasi penyakit yang bisa memunculkan ruam di seluruh tubuh dan sangat menular itu sudah pada tahap penyiapan logistik vaksin dan tenaga medis.
Untuk logistik imunisasi campak, Dinkes menjamin aman dan bebas dari vaksin palsu karena dikirim langsung oleh Kementerian Kesehatan RI melalui distributor resmi Bio Farma.

“Pemberian imunisasi campak akan dilaksanakan tim medis dari seluruh Puskesmas di Dumai dan vaksin yang diberikan kita jamin aman bebas dari vaksin palsu,” ungkapnya.
Usai pekan imunisasi campak, Dinkes Dumai kembali melanjutkan program pemberian vaksin tetanus kepada anak didik mulai kelas 1,2 dan tiga sekolah dasar pada November 2016 mendatang.
Dinkes berharap orang tua tidak cemas dengan adanya isu vaksin palsu yang beredar di beberapa daerah karena vaksin yang digunakan dijamin asli.
Selain itu, Dinas Kesehatan, BPOM dan Polres setempat sudah melakukan pemeriksaan dan dipastikan vaksin palsu tidak ditemukan beredar di Dumai.
“Tidak perlu kuatir karena kita sudah melakukan uji petik ke sarana kesehatan dan vaksin yang beredar di Dumai semuanya resmi dan tidak ada yang palsu,” demikian Romauli.
Untuk Provinsi Riau, Dinas Kesehatan telah melakukan sosialisasi program pemberian imunisasi campak ke masyarakat dan ditargetkan membidik sasaran sebanyak 322.818 anak berusia 9-59 bulan.(C1/Net)
