celahkotaNEWS.com – DUMAI – Tanki timbun milik PT. Sari Dumai Oleo (SDO) di Kelurahan Lubuk Gaung Kecamatan Sungai Sembilan Kota Dumai terbakar. Peristiwa terjadi Rabu malam (16/6/2021) sekira Pukul 20.10 WIB.
Saat kebakaran pihak perusahaan langsung menutup akses masuk ke perusahaan, scurity tampak menutup pagar besi perusahaan yang biasanya digunakan keluar masuk kendaraan.
Terkait kebakaran itu, Humas PT. SDO membenarkan kejadian tersebut.
“Sehubungan dengan insiden kebakaran yang terjadi di salah satu tangki penampungan milik PT Sari Dumai Oleo, dapat kami sampaikan bahwa saat ini masih dilakukan proses pemadaman,” kata Humas PT SDO, Kamero Bangun.
Yang terbakar adalah tangki biodiesel, saat ini tim pemadam kebakaran dan dibantu pihak terkait tengah melakukan proses pemadaman.
“Kami akan terus berupaya untuk memastikan pemadaman kebakaran ini dapat dilakukan segera,” ungkapnya.
Kamero mengatakan, terkait penyebab kebakaran masih dalam penanganan instansi yang berwenang.
“Kami harapkan dukungan dari rekan-rekan jurnalis untuk bisa turut membantu dengan memberikan informasi yang bisa mendukung kelancaran jalannya proses pemadaman di lokasi pabrik kami.” Pungkasnya. (aam/ckn)
