Mengenal Pembagian 3 Golongan SIM C

celahkotaNEWS.com – Surat Izin Mengemudi (SIM) sepeda motor kini dibuat menjadi tiga golongan yang mengklasifikasikannya berdasarkan isi silinder mesin. Dua di antara tiga golongan SIM tersebut dapat digunakan sekaligus bagi pengguna motor listrik.

Ketentuan baru ini tertuang dalam Peraturan Kepolisian Nomor 5 Tahun 2021 Tentang Penerbitan dan Penandaan SIM yang resmi berlaku 19 Februari 2021 atau sejak diundangkan.

Pada aturan, tepatnya dalam Pasal 3 ayat 2, ada tiga golongan SIM C , yaitu SIM C, SIM CI, dan SIM CII.

SIM C ini berlaku untuk pengemudi motor dengan kapasitas silinder mesin sampai dengan 250 cc. Bisa diasumsikan golongan ini merupakan SIM yang berlaku saat ini bakal motor bebek maupun skutik, atau motor sport dengan kubikasi 250 cc.

SIM C khusus motor listrik

Kemudian SIM SIM CI berlaku bakal pengendara motor dengan mesin 250 cc sampai dengan atau maksimal 500 cc. SIM ini juga berlaku bakal pengguna motor listrik.

Terakhir yaitu SIM CII yang ditujukan bakal pengendara moge dengan mesin di atas 500 cc. Sama seperti CI, CII juga bisa sekaligus digunakan oleh pengendara motor bebas emisi.
Lalu Pasal 8 menyebutkan syarat pemohon jika pemohon ingin mempunyai SIM berdasarkan usia.

Pada SIM C biasa misalnya persyaratan masih sama yaitu usia pemohon minimal 17 tahun. Sedangkan SIM CI ada perbedaan yaitu pemohon minimal usia 18 tahun dan CII 19 tahun.

Sedangkan Pasal 3 ayat 3 menjelaskan untuk dapat memiliki SIM CI harus memenuhi ketentuan antaranya memiliki SIM C dan telah digunakan selama 12 bulan sejak diterbitkan.

Berikutnya SIM CII harus memenuhi ketentuan memiliki SIM CI yang dimiliki dan telah digunakan selama 12 bulan sejak SIM CI terbit.(ckn/CNN/)
