Anggota DPR Komis X Prediksi Pendidikan Indonesia Masih Kewalahan di 2021

Jakarta – Anggota Komisi X DPR Ferdiansyah memprediksi dunia pendidikan 2021 belum akan lebih baik dari tahun lau. Terlebih, pandemi covd-19 masih terus berlangsung.

“Saya melihat Outlook Pendidikan tahun 2021, saya ini khawatir akan lebih buruk daripada tahun 2020,” kata Ferdiansyah dalam webinar ngopi seksi outlook pendidikan Indonesia 2021, Minggu 3 Januari 2021.

Namun, menurutnya, prediksi buruk tentang dunia pendidikan itu dapat dicegah oleh Kemeterian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud). Kemendikbud harus membenahi sistem Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ).

“Masalah PJJ ini kan semua jenjang, baik itu SD, SMP, SMA, dan perguruan tinggi itu kan juga belum terpetakan dengan baik dan dasar hukumnya belum ada. Jadi harus ada kepedulian negara terhadap dunia pendidikan di antaranya adalah status hukum tersebut,” kata dia.

Kemudian, dia meminta rencana strategi (renstra) Kemendikbud dikaji dengan matang. Undang-Undang dapat dijadikan acuan menyusun renstra.

“Saya mellihat di renstra Kemendikbud tidak satu pun undang-undang bidang kebudayaan dijadikan referensi ataupun konsideran menimbang dalam pembuatan renstra Kemendikbud, padahal di UUD 1945 dikatakan itu beriringan,” terang dia.

Permasalahan yang selanjutnya mesti diselesaikan ialah kebijakan pendidikan tinggi. Menurutnya, banyak kebijakan yang tidak disinkronisasi.

“Masalah pendidikan tinggi ini kan juga harus disesuaikan pokok data pendidikan tinggi yang juga kami melihat ada ketidaksinkronan, yang juga tidak ada keberpihakan pada pendidikan inklusi. Yang terjadi masalah pokok di dunia pendidikan di Indonesia, kok tidak diurus dengan baik,” tutupnya.(medcom.id)
