Perwakilan Indonesia dari daerah Bengkalis dan kota Dumai berhasil menjadi Juara 1 dan 3 di karnaval Tanjung Boloh, Jong Internasional, di Malaysia.
Amronsyah yang ikut mengharumkan nama indonesia di karnaval Tajung Boloh, Jong Internasional mengungkapkan, dirinya mengikuti karnaval tanjung Boloh bersama empat rekan satu timnya yang berasal dari bengkalis Yakni, Basir, Idris, jojon dan Amir.
“Alhamdulillah pada permainan rakyat pesisir ini Jong kita bernama Ratu Ular Sendok berhasil mendapatkan juara 1 sedangkan Piska Kobra, berhasil mendapatkan juara 3 di ajang karnaval Tanjung Boloh,” katanya, Selasa (10/12/2019), di Rumahnya di Jalan Srimulyo, kelurahan Purnama, kecamatan Dumai Barat.
Amronsyah yang juga merupakan Duta budaya Melayu provinsi Riau dari Kota Dumai, untuk permainan rakyat, menerangkan, pada karnaval tanjung Boloh pihaknya membawa 15 Jong dengan ukuran bervariasi mulai dari 1 Meter hingga 2,9 Meter.
Dengan berhasilnya perwakilan Indonesia di ajang karnaval tanjung Boloh di Malaysia, dirinya berharap bisa menumbuhkan minat masyarakat dalam melestarikan permainan rakyat pesisir ini.
Diakuinya, permainan rakyat pesisir Jong (kapal layar kecil) saat ini sudah bisa dikatakan sudah mulai punah dan langka, untuk itulah, ia sangat berharap Jong bisa kembali dimainkan oleh generasi muda pesisir khususnya di Riau.
Amronsyah mengaku, permainan rakyat Jong tentunya merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk dilestarikan agar generasi muda Dumai dan khususnya masyarakat pesisir bisa tetap mengerti dan mencintai.
Lebihlanjutditerangkanya, saat ini kendalanya dalam mengiuti event atau perlombaan di luar negeri adalah biaya, untuk itu dirinya sangat berharap perhatian dari pemerintah kota untuk mengikuti perlombaan ditingkat internasional.
Bukan hanya itu saja, Amronsyah berharap pemerintah kota Dumai bisa membuat event-event untuk permainan rakyat, agar permainan rakyat di Dumai tetap lestari.
“Saya yakin jika pemerintah kota membuat event-event permainan rakyat setiap tahun, maka permainan rakyat pasti akan dikenal oleh generasi muda Dumai,” pungkasnya.(ckn)
