BPOM Pekanbaru Temukan Dugaan Vaksin Palsu
Celahkotanews.com || Pekanbaru – Balai Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) Pekanbaru menemukan peredaran vaksin diduga palsu di Provinsi Riau. Sejumlah sample sudah disita untuk kemudian dikordinasikan dengan intansi terkait guna melakukan penindakan.
Demikian disampaikan Kepala BPOM Pekanbaru Indra Ginting kepada wartawan Senin (27/6) kemarin. Indra belum merincikan dan menjelaskan farmasi atau tempat vaksin diduga palsu itu diedarkan. Menurutnya, penemuan ini masih dikoordinasikan dengan sejumlah pihak, seperti Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Khusus Polda Riau dan Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Riau.
“Sudah ada beberapa item yang disita sebagai barang bukti. Di antaranya Anti Tetanus Serum (ATS) dan vaksin bisa ular. Secepatnya akan dikordinasikan kepada pihak terkait,” sebut Indra kepada wartawan Senin (27/6) kemarin.
Dihubungi terpisah, Kepala Dinas Provinsi Riau Andra Sjafril membenarkan adanya temuan vaksi diduga palsu itu dari BPOM Pekanbaru. Langkah selanjutnya, Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Riau mengeluarkan surat edaran kepada dinas kesehatan di kabupaten dan kota di Riau untuk mewaspadai beredarnya vaksin palsu.
“Sudah dihimbau kepada dinas kesehatan di kabupaten dan kota untuk diwaspadai,” kata Andra.
Pihaknya juga berkoordinasi dengan BPOM untuk mengetahui vaksin apa saja yang palsu. Selanjutnya, pihaknya akan melakukan sidak ke sejumlah lokasi yang diduga mengedarkannya.
“Kami juga menghimbau kepada orang tua dan masyarakat yang baru saja mendapat vaksin untuk memantau kesehatan anak pasca mendapat vaksi,” ungkap Andra.
Sementara itu, Wakil Direktur Reserse Kriminal Khusus Polda Riau AKBP Ari Rahman Navarin mengaku belum mendapat laporan dari BPOM terkait adanya peredaran vaksin tersebut.
“Belum ada mendapat laporan. Nanti akan diselidiki kalau sudah dikoordinasikan,” katanya.(C1/DP
