CELAHKOTANEWS.COM||DUMAI- Lelang Amal dan Konser Kemanusiaan Peduli Palestina yang dilaksanakan Komite Nasional Untuk Rakyat Palestina (KNURP) di Kota Dumai mendapat donasi sumbangan sebesar Rp617 juta.
Ketua Panitia Agustiawan mengatakan bahwa pelaksanaan lelang amal dan konser kemanusiaan untuk Palestina merupakan daerah ke 70 dari 99 kota yang dilaksanakan Komite Nasional Untuk Rakyat Palestina (KNURP).
“Dalam acara ini kita memberi pemahaman bahwa perjuangan pembebasan Palestina merupakan kewajiban bersama. Di acara ini kita mengandeng artis religi Opick dan Medina,” kata Agustiawan, Minggu (6/11/16).
Dikatakan Agustiawan, konser yang dilaksanakan di Ballroom Comfort Hotel tersebut merupakan suatu bentuk komitmen dalam mendukung perjuangan dan pembebasan masyarakat di Negara Palestina.
Pelaksanaan lelang amal dan konser kemanusiaan ini dilaksanakan mulai pukul 08.00 WIB hingga pukul 12.00 WIB. Dalam hitungan jam memperoleh Donasi dari masyarakat Dumai sebanyak Rp 617 juta.
“Alhamdulillah apa yang kita laksanakan di Kota Dumai mendapat sambutan antusias dari masyarakat hingga akhirnya terkumpul donasi sebanyak Rp617 juta. Dana ini akan terus kita kumpulkan,” jelasnya.
Dikatakannya juga, sebelum pelaksanaan konser tersebut pihaknya juga telah mengumpul Rp 60 Juta melalui penggalangan dana kemanusian dengan melakukan sosialisasi ketengah masyarakat dan sekolah di Kota Dumai.
“Donasi dana umat ini akan dikumpulkan ke panitia nasional dan akan disalurkan langsung ke rakyat yang berada di Gaza dan kota lain di Palestina. Mudah-mudahan ini bisa membantu saudara kita di sana,” katanya.
Dalam konser lelang amal itu terlihat juga hadir Wakil Walikota Dumai Eko Suharjo, Istri Walikota Dumai Haslinar ditengah ratusan umat muslim yang menggunakan atribut berlambang Palestina.
Wakil Walikota Dumai, Eko Suharjo pada kesempatan itu mengapresiasi kegiatan sosial ini. Mewakili pemerintah daerah, Eko mengucapkan terimakasih kepada masyarakat yang ikut menyumpangkan uangnya.
“Kami menyambut baik dan mengapresiasi kegiatan peduli Palestina ini. Mudah-mudahan apa yang didapat ini bisa meringankan beban saudara-saudara kita di negara Palestina tersebut,” pungkasnya.(rt/net)
