celahkotaNEWS.com || DUMAI – Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Disdikbud) Kota Dumai memutuskan meliburkan kegiatan belajar dan mengajar di sekolah mulai tingkat TK, SD dan SMP sederajat se-Kota Dumai.

Keputusan tersebut mengacu pada himbauan antisipasi menyebarnya virus Corona atau COVID-19.

Sekretaris Dinas Pendidikan Kota Dumai, Dedy mengatakan, seluruh sekolah diliburkan mulai 16 hingga 30 Maret 2020.

“Kegiatan belajar dan mengajar di sekolah mulai tingkat TK, SD dan SMP sederajat se Kota Dumai diliburkan sampai 30 Maret 2020. Keputusan tersebut mengacu pada himbauan antisipasi menyebarnya virus Corona atau COVID-19,” kata Dedy, Senin (16/3/2020).

Dijelaskannya, Disdik Dumai memutuskan untuk mengganti kegiatan belajar mengajar yang awalnya di kelas, menjadi di rumah.

“Kami himbau kepada seluruh orang tua agar mengawasi anak-anaknya agar jangan bermain diluar rumah selama libur sekolah,” pesan Dedy.

Dedy juga mengimbau kepada orang tua agar mengawasi anak-anaknya agar mengerjakan tugas yang telah diberikan oleh guru untuk mengganti kegiatan belajar mengajar yang awalnya di kelas, menjadi di rumah sampai 30 Maret mendatang.

Sementara kepada guru tetap datang ke sekolah untuk mengerjakan tugas-tugasnya.(halloriau)
