celahkotaNEWS.com || DUMAI –Pembangunan Dermaga di PT Energi Unggul Persada (EUP), Kelurahan Bangsal Aceh, Kecamatan Sungai Sembilan, dinilai abaikan konsep keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3).
Dalam pekerjaan di proyek bangunan dermaga Jetty, Senin (20/01/2020) pukul 18.15 WIB. Para pekerja yang dipekerjakan di pembangunan dermaga tidak mengunakan perlengkapan yang memadai sebagai syarat bagian terdepan saat melakukan aktifitas kontruksi diatas ketinggian yang tidak wajar.
Anehnya pekerja tersebut seolah tak mendapat pengawasan dari PT UEP sendiri.
Sejumlah pekerja di pekerjakan diatas ketinggian dermaga tersebut tidak dilengkapi Body Safety Harnes. Terlihat dengan jelas aktivitas mereka di dermaga tampa mengunakan perlengkapan keselamatan lainya.
“Mereka tidak dilengkapinya alat keselamatan kerja atau alat pelindung diri,” ujar Agus pengemudi kapal kayu yang kebetulan melintas diperairan Bangsal Aceh.
Agus menilai,kecerobohan PT UEP yang melaksanakan konstruksi bangunan dermaga itu diduga telah melanggar undang-undang nomer 13 tahun 2003 pasal 87 tentang Keselamatan dan Kesehatan kerja (K3).
PT UEP dinilai tidak mengutamakan keselamatan pekerja maupun perangkat kerja yang ada di perusahaan itu. Untuk itu, Dinas Tenaga Kerja diminta bertindak tegas sesuai aturan.
Proyek dermaga terlihat megah di perairan bangsal aceh itu justru menyebabkan perhatiannya terhadap aspek Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja ( K3) jadi terabaikan.
Pihak perwakilan PT Energi Unggul Persada (EUP) Hendra Hu yang dikonfirmasi Senin (19/01/2020) memilih bungkam dan belum menjawab pertanyaan yang dilontarkan redaksi.
Kendati pertanyaan yang disampaikan melalui via What App dibukanya, namun tidak dijawab.
PT UEP pada awal tahun 2019 lalu pernah di tuntut oleh Gerakan Pemuda dan Mahasiswa (Gempa) Kota Dumai menuntut agar kegiatan operasional PT Energi Unggul Persada (EUP) di hentikan.
Massa yang melakukan aksi di depan kantor EUP di Jalan Raya Lubuk Gaung itu menilai perusahaan itu banyak melanggar aturan yang ada.
Massa aksi juga menilai PT UEP melakukan reklamasi, namum pihak perusahaan tidak mengakui jika aktivitas yang melakukan adalah reklamasi adalah pembangunan dermaga.
Aturan tentang reklamasi juga diatur di UU Nomor 27/2007 tentang Pengelolaan Wilayah Pesisir dan pulau-pulau kecil. Di sana diatur mengenai reklamasi jika tidak memenuhi UU bisa dikenai sanski adminstrasi dan pidana.(ckn)
