CELAHKOTANEWS.COM, DUMAI – Warga di sekitar Sungai Dumai, khususnya di Kelurahan Bukit Datuk, Dumai Selatan, Riau, Kamis (19/2/2015) digegerkan dengan penemuan mayat bayi yang tersangkut di dalam Sungai Dumai. Saat ditemukan, kondisi mayat sudah membusuk.

Penemuan mayat bayi sekitar puku 09.30 Wib itu langsung menghebohkan warga setempat dan dalam sekejap ratusan warga sudah terlihat di lokasi. “Ada mayat bayi yang tersangkut di dalam sungai. Mayat itu ditemukan oleh kakak beradik yang sedang memancing. Saat ditemukan, mayat itu sudah nyangkut di sungai,” ujar Iwan, salah seorang warga Bukit Datuk kepada celahkotanews.com, Kamis (19/2/2015).

Bayi yang ditemukan warga berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan diperkirakan warga, sudah meninggal satu atau dua hari lalu karena saat ditemukan, kondisi mayat sudah mulai mengeluarkan bau busuk. Diperkirakan bayi itu baru lahir beberapa hari sebelum kejadian dan diduga dengan sengaja dibuang oleh orang tuanya.

Sementara itu, Kapolsek Dumai Barat, Kompol Achmad Gusti Hartono saat dikonfirmasi membenarkan adanya penemuan mayat bayi tersebut. ”Kondisinya sudah mulai membusuk, sekarang sudah dibawa ke RSUD Dumai untuk divisum,” tutupnya.(wdy)
