Setelah memimpin apel dan memberikan arahan kepada anggota, Dirpolairud Polda Riau Kombes Pol Eko Irianto mengungkapkan, bahwa kegiatan Patroli yang ditingkatkan diperairan Riau ini tujuanya yang paling utama yakni, meningkatkan sinergitas antar instasi yang menjaga perairan Riau.
“Tidak ada pekerjaan yang bisa sukses kalau dilakukan sendiri, kita harus bersama sama bergandengan tangan dalam menjaga perairan Riau, jadi sinergitas ini sangat perlu dalam menjaga kekompakan,” katanya.
Kombes Pol Eko menjelaskan, Perairan Riau ini sangat luas mulai dari Dumai, hingga Indragiri Hilir, untuk itulah dalam menjaga perairan Riau perlu sinergitas antara Polri, Bea Cukai, KSOP, KPLP dan juga TNI AL.
Menurutnya, banyak tindakan kriminal yang terjadi diperairan, seperti penyelundupan barang-barang terlarang baik rokok ilegal, balpres, narkoba, bahkan kekayaan alam Indonesia seperti pasir dan lainya yang ada di Perairan.
Diakuinya, di 2021 ini ada belasan kasus kriminal yang terjadi di Perairan Riau yang berhasil diungkap oleh pihaknya, untuk itu perlu adanya sinergitas dalam mengungkap tidak pidanan di perairan Riau.
“Kepada anggota yang bertugas dilapangan tetap jaga keselamatan dan selalu jalankan tugas susuai SOP, karena ini penting, dan yang paling penting tingkatkan sinergitas antar instansi,” imbuhnya.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Kombes Pol Eko mengajak seluruh anggota bisa menjadi contoh dalam menerapkan Protokol Kesehatan Covid-19, mengingat penyebaran masih terjadi di Riau.
