PLN Dumai Berlakukan Pemadaman Listrik Delapan Jam

CELAHKOTANEWS.COM||DUMAI – Sebanyak 18 lokasi di wilayah Kota Dumai akan mengalami pemadaman aliran listrik selama delapan jam mulai pukul 08.00 Wib-16.00 Wib karena PLN melakukan kegiatan pemeliharaan jaringan, kata Humas PLN Rayon Dumai Kota Aditya Liri Syafki, Kamis.

Adapun delapan titik padam pada hari Kamis tersebut, Parit Sadak 1 dan 2, Parit Pisang Mas, B Merawan, Bandes, Raja Ali Haji, Jalan Kelapa, Bangsal Aceh, Sukajadi, Sukabumi, Lubuk Gaung, Penerbit, Pembangunan, Rejosari, Bunga, Mampu Jaya, Pelajar dan Basilam Baru atau Kaplingan.

Ia mengatakan, kegiatan pemeliharaan yang akan dilakukan PLN adalah pekerjaan gempur penyulang dan perbaikan konstruksi pada Penyulang Semangka-LBS UNRI.

“Beberapa lokasi akan terkena pemadaman selama delapan jam karena ada pekerjaan terencana pada penyulang,” kata Aditya.

Dikatakan, terhadap rencana pemadaman ini diharapkan agar masyarakat pelanggan dapat memaklumi kondisi kelistrikan yang mengalami ketidaksiapan beberapa unit pembangkit pada sistem Sumatera Bagian Tengah.

Selama sepekan sebelumnya PLN juga melakukan pemadaman aliran listrik di ratusan titik padam, yaitu sejak 1-7 September lalu karena beberapa unit pembangkit sistem kelistrikan Sumbangteng harus dilakukan perbaikan dan pemeliharaan.

“Diharapkan pengertian pelanggan atas pemadaman ini agar kedepan kondisi kelistrikan kembali membaik dan tidak mengalami gangguan,” sebutnya.

Unit pembangkit yang mengalami kondisi ketidaksiapan dan harus dilakukan perbaikan tersebut adalah PLTU Ombilin, PLTU Teluk Sirih, PLTU Teluk Lembu, PLTMG Balai Pungut, PLTMG CNG Sei Gelam dan PLTU IPP Sumatera Selatan.

Dampak dari ketidaksiapan unit pembangkit membuat pasokan sistem kelistrikan Sumbangteng ke Dumai mengalami gangguan dan terjadi defisit daya mampu terhadap kebutuhan beban puncak.

Diketahui, untuk mengurangi pemadaman listrik pelanggan dan mendukung program pemerintah untuk pengembangan masalah kelistrikan, PT PLN juga berencana melakukan pemasangan instalasi tiang listrik di 97 titik di Kota Dumai.(an/net)
