Dua petinggi PT.Nasional sago Prima (NSP),Erwin Selaku General Manager sekaligus Kepala Cabang PT.NSP,dan Dawo Dwi Priyono selaku Manager PT.NSP,Divonis bebas majelis hakim pengadilan Negri (PN) Bengkalis.

Kedua Petinggi PT.NSP ini disebut tak terbukti bersalah dalam kasus pembakaran hutan dan lahan seluas 3.000 hektare di kabupaten Kepulawan Meranti,Awl 2014.

Sebelumnya,Jaksa Penuntut Umum (JPU) syafrial menuntut Erwin dihukum enam tahun penjara dan denda Rp 1 Milyar dengan subside enam bulan kurangan penjara,sedangkan terdakwa Nowa Dwi Priyono Dituntut hukuman 1,5 tahun penjara dan denda Rp 1 milyar dengan subside enam bulan kurangan penjara.

”Terdakwa tidak terbukti bersalah dan BEBAS dari tuntutan HUKUM,” kata ketua majelis PN Bengkalis, Sarah Luis simajuntak saat memimpin sidang,Kamis (22/1/2015).

Namun,seperti dikutip Metrotvnews,majelis hakim menyebut Dierektur Utama PT.NSP Eris Ariaman bersalah dan dikenai denda Rp 2 milyar denagn pidana tambahan terdakwa harus melengkapi sarana dan prasarana untuk mengantisipasi kebakaran hutan dan lahan.Koperasai disebut dengan sengaja membakarlahan seluas 3.000 hektare dan lalai dalam perpanjangan perizinan. Vonis tersebut jauh lebih ringan dari tuntutan JPU yang mendakwa PT.NSP telah bersalah dan wajib membayar denda Rp 5 milyar serta pidana tambahan atas kerugian Negara sebesar Rp 1 Triliun.

Dajwaan itu sesuai dengan pasal 108 juncto pasal 116 huruf a dan b Undang-undang RI Nomer 32 tahun 2—9 tentang Perlindungan dan Pengelolahan Lingkungan Hidup,sibsider pasal 98 juncto 116 huruf a dan b,dan lebih sudsider pasal 99 juncto pasal 116 huruf a dan b UU RI LINGKUNGAN HIDUP.(one)
