CelahkotaNEWS.com || DUMAI – Satuan Reskrim Polres Dumai berhasil menangkap satu dari dua pelaku kompoltan spesialis pencurian dengan kekerasan atau Curas di Kota Dumai.
Pelaku berinisial JS (22) warga Kelurahan Bumi Ayu, Kecamatan Dumai Selatan, Kota Dumai ini spesialis Joki atau pengendara sepeda motor saat beraksi menjambret para korbannya.
Kapolres Dumai AKBP P Nainggolan melalui Kasat Reskrim AKP Awalludin Syam pada Jumat (9/3/2018) di Halaman Mapolres Dumai menjelaskan kronologi penangkapan yang bermula saat pihaknya mendapat informasi dari seorang penadah.
Akhirnya pelaku berhasil diamankan di Jalan Cendrawasih, Kelurahan Laksamana, Kecamatan Dumai Kota pada Rabu (7/3/2018) kemarin.
Dari pengakuan JS bahwa ia bersama satu orang tersangka yang masih Daftar Pencarian Orang (DPO) berinisial PS yang berperan sebagai eksekutor, telah melakukan aksi jambret nya tersebut sebanyak enam kali di Kota Dumai. Tidak ada lokasi khusus yang menjadi tempat mereka beraksi, hanya saja mereka melakukannya secara acak dan melihat kesempatan.
“Komplotan ini mentargetkan wanita yang menggunakan tas saat sedang berkendara, saat target sedang lengah dan dengan melihat kesempatan tersebut lah pelaku melancarkan aksinya,” jelas Awalludin.
Dari tangan tersangka Polisi berhasil mengamankan barang bukti berupa satu unit Handphone dan satu unit sepeda Motor Merk Suzuki Sonic.
“Tersangka akan dikenakan Pasal 363 KUHP dengan ancaman hukuman maksimal 9 tahun penjara,” imbuhnya.(src)
