Di beberapa pengecer gas melon tersebut langsung habis saat didrop dari pangkalan. Konsumen harus menunggu dua hingga tiga hari untuk dapat gas melon tersebut.
“Saya menunggu dua hari baru dapat,” kata Meta, warga Umbulharjo, Yogyakarta, Senin (5/1). Harga gas melon sendiri di Yogya mencapai Rp 18-19 ribu per tabung.
Suprih, warga Giwangan, Yogyakarta juga mengeluhkan hal serupa. Bahkan sejak kemarin dirinya belum mendapat gas melon tersebut padahal sudah habis.
“Mau masak jadi susah, terpaksa beli ke warung. Masak air harus pakai arang,” katanya.
Pengecer gas melon di Prawirotaman, Yogyakarta, Aning mengatakan, gas melon setiap kali datang langsug habis diambil masyarakat. Menurutnya, banyak konsumen gas elpiji 12 kg berpindah ke gas melon
Sementara itu, Kabid Elpiji Subsidi DPD Himpunan Wiraswasta Minyak dan Gas (Hiswana Migas) DIY Yogyakarta. Iwan Setyawan mengatakan, konsumsi gas melon di DIY sejak Desember lalu meningkat.
Konsumsi gas melon di DIY setiap hari mencapai 88 ribu tabung. Gas ini didistribusikan kepada 44 agen dan 3.000 pangkalan di DIY.
