CelahkotaNews.com || DUMAI – Sinergitas yang terjalin antara dua instansi yakni Kodim 0320/Dumai dan Bea Cukai Dumai berhasil menyelamatkan kerugian negara sebesar Rp. 5,5 Miliar Rupiah dari hasil penegahan Rokok Ilegal sebanyak 790 karton, pada Sabtu (16/12) petang kemarin.
Kronologi kejadian berawal saat Tim Kodim 0320/Dumai mendapatkan informasi tentang adanya tempat penyimpanan rokok ilegal di area perkebunan sawit di daerah Sungai Teras, Desa Simpang Latif, Kelurahan Basilam Baru, Kecamatan Sungai Sembilan, Kota Dumai.
“Selanjutnya tim gabungan Kodim 0320/Dumai dan BC Dumai bergerak menuju lokasi via jalur darat dan tiba dilokasi sekira pukul 17.00 WIB setelah melalui perjalanan yang berat karena kondisi jalan yang rusak,” jelas Kepala Bea Cukai Dumai, Adhang Nugroho saat Ekspos Kasus pada Selasa (19/12) di Kantor Bea Cukai Dumai.
Setiba dilokasi tim menemukan sebuah pondok yang didepan nya terdapat tumpukan kardus berwarna coklat yang berisi rokok ditutupi terpal dan dipagari dengan kerangka kayu sedemikian rupa dengan ukuran sekitar 15 x 5 meter.
Terdapat tiga orang yang diduga penjaga pondok, melihat tim datang mereka lantas melarikan diri. Dikarenakan medan yg sulit, mereka berhasil melarikan diri sebelum tim bisa sampai di TKP.
“Setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut, rokok-rokok tersebut kedapatan tidak dilekati pita cukai dan selanjutnya setelah tim berkoordinasi, diputuskan untuk ditarik ke Kantor BC Dumai melalui jalur laut dan dibongkar di Pelabuhan Pokala, Pelindo untuk selanjutnya dibawa ke gudang BC Dumai,” tambahnya.
Proses pemindahan rokok tersebut ke Dumai memakan waktu yang cukup lama karena kondisi medan yang sulit dan jarak antara tumpukan rokok ke pinggir pantai kurang lebih 1 Km, sehingga harus dilakukan pemindahan secara estafet dan seluruh rokok tersebut baru berhasil dipindahkan ke Kantor Bea dan Cukai Dumai pada hari Minggu (17/12) malam kemarin.
Kasdim 0320/Dumai, Mayor Arh Sudiyono mengatakan bahwa proses penegahan tersebut merupakan kerja sama dan sinergitas yang baik antara Bea Cukai Dumai dengan Kodim 0320/Dumai.
“Kita berkomitmen untuk menjadikan Kota Dumai sebagai daerah yang aman dan terlepas dari berbagai permalasahan, terutama masuk nya barang-barang dari luar Dumai, apalagi karena kondisi Kota Dumai yang merupakan pintu masuk internasional,” kata Kasdim.(Src)
