Berangkat dari informasi tersebut, petugas langsung melakukan pengintaian di tempat kejadian perkara (TKP).
Tak butuh waktu lama melakukan penyelidikan, akhirnya dua unit speed boat tersebut akhirnya melintas, sehingga tim gabungan langsung melakukan pengejaran.
Dalam proses pengejara, 1 unit speed boat muatan minuman keras sempat berhasil melarikan diri dari pengejaran petugas, namun akhirnya berhasil diamankan.
Hingga berita ini dirilis, untuk jumlah pasti muatan rokok dan minuman keras yang berhasil diamankan tim gabungan WFQR Komando Armada RI Kawasan Barat (Koarmabar) yang terdiri dari Koarmabar, Guskamla, Lantamal I, Lantamal IV dan Lanal Dumai masih melakukan penghitungan.(rdk)
