CelahkotaNEWS.com || DUMAI – Sebagai bentuk penghargaan kepada atlet dan pelatih , Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia ( KONI) Dumai memberikan bonus bagi atlit dan pelatih yang berprestasi dalam ajang Pekan Olahraga Provinsi Riau IX tahun 2017 lalu.
Bonus tersebut diberikan berbarengan dengan pelaksanaan Rapat Anggota Koni Dumai Tahun 2018. Bonus secara simbolis diserahkan langsung Walikota Dumai Zulkifli As didampingi DPRD, Ketua Koni Khairuddin bertempat di Hotel Grand Zuri , Senin ( 14/05) kemaren
Dalam laporan Sekretaris Koni , Ujang Said total yang menerima bonus porprov ini ada sebanyak 51 atlit dan Pelatih dari 11 cabor.Mereka semua telah membawa pulang medali emas , perak dan perunggu diajang Porprov.
Besaran yang diterima atlet dan pelatih di sesuaikan dengan klasifikasinya, untuk medali Emas diberi Rp 5 juta, Perak Rp 3 Juta dan Perunggu Rp 2 juta.
” Tercatat dari 51 atlet, 14 Atlit berhasil membawa medali emas, 16 Atlet Medali perak dan 21 medali perunggu ditambah ada 11 pelatih cabor yang diberikan bonus karena berprestasi dan berhasil mendapatkan peringkat 8 dari 12 kabupaten kota se Provinsi Riau.”
Usai memberikan bonus, Ketua Koni Dumai Khairuddin mengucapkan selamat bagi atlit dan pelatih berprestasi semoga apa yang diberikan oleh Koni Dumai dapat bermanfaat bagi para atlit dan pelatih.
Dia juga meminta maaf karena teman teman sudah lama menunggu bonus ini .Keterlambatan bukan disengaja melainkan karena beberapa tahapan yang harus dilalui untuk proses pencairan.
Disamping bonus, koni juga tetap memberikan uang pembinaan untuk atlit dan pelatih yang berprestasi jadi prestasi harus dipertahankan dan ditingkatkan.” Jangan dilihat dari nilainya karena semua kita sesuaikan dengan kemampuan anggaran pemerintah kota.” tukasnya sembari menyebut bonus langsung diserahkan melalui rekening masing masing
Sementara Walikota Dumai Zulkifli As berharap agar para atlit dan pelatih yang berpretasi dapat diperhatikan lagi oleh koni karena perjuangan mereka membawa dan mengharumkam nama Dumai baik tingkat provinsi maupun Nasional.
Meskipun diakui Walikota saat ini pemerintah alami keterbatasan anggaran, namun perhatian dari pemerintah untuk para atlit terus ada .Mudah mudahan prestasi olahraga kedepan akan semakin bagus dan meningkat.Kemudian diminta juga perhatian dari perusahaan agar ikut serta membina cabor yang ada dikira Dumai sebagai bapak angkat.
