Mereka disinyalir berangkat melalui tekong atau agen sindikat perdagangan manusia agar dapat diberangkatkan ke Malaysia bekerja sebagai TKI ilegal dengan Membayarkan sejumlah uang.
Kelima warga aceh ini, ditahan petugas imigrasi Dumai di pelabuhan kapal Fery internasional Dumai Jalan Datuk laksemana Kelurahan Buluh Kasap Kecamatan Dumai Timur,karena berangkat dengan cara non prosedural tanpa memiliki dokumen ketenagakerjaan,mereka ditahan untuk menjalani pemeriksaan di ruangan wasdakim imigrasi Dumai setelah ditolak keberangkatannya ke malaysia.
Kepala Imigrasi Dumai Zulkifli melalui Kasi Wasdakim Ranga Putra yuda.Dalam keterangannya saat di periksa petugas,mereka mengaku mau ke Malaysia untuk pergi berlibur bukan menjadi TKI ilegal. Dan tidak mengetahui kenapa sampai diamankan ke kantor imigrasi Dumai. Untuk dapat berangkat ke Malaysia mereka mengaku sudah membayarkan sejumlah uang kepada agen atau tekong yang berjanji akan mencarikan pekerjaan buat mereka dinegeri Malaysia, namun keberangkatnya dari Dumai Tujuan Malaysia dengan cara ilegal.
Menurut Kasi Wasdakim imigrasi Dumai, Rangga putra Yuda, kelima warga Aceh ini ditolak keberangkatan karena berangkat secara non prosedural untuk bekerja sebagai TKI ilegal ke Malaysia. Sementara ini mereka ditahan untuk pemeriksaan dan jika terbukti bersalah akan dikenakan sanksi administratif.
“Jika untuk berangkat ke Malaysia kenapa kelima warga Aceh ini, tidak berangkat dari Aceh. Kenapa harus melalui Dumai. Diduga mereka berangkat untuk menjadi TKI ilegal memanfaatkan agen dan tekong yang menjanjikan mereka pekerjaan dengan membayarkan sejumlah uang agar dapat masuk ke Malaysia,’jelas ranga
Lanjut Kasi Wasdakim “Praktek ini merupakan sindikat perdagangan manusia yang sering memanfaatkan warga Indonesia yang nekat menjadi TKI ilegal.”ujarnya
Namun sayangnya dalam kasus ini, pihak agen atau tekong tidak berhasil ikut diamankan petugas imigrasi Dumai.Sejauh itu pula jika terbukti bersalah, Pihak imigrasi Dumai akan memberikan sanksi administratif dengan mencabut paspor kelima warga Aceh ini dengan tidak diperbolehkan melakukan perjalanan ke luar negeri selama enam bulan. Kemudian memulangkan mereka ke daerah asalnya mereka Aceh.(ckn)
