CELAHKOTANEWS.COM, BENGKALIS – Warga RT 02 RW 03 Dusun Seluk Bongkal, Desa Koto Pait Berangin, Kecamatan Pinggir, Kabupaten Bengkalis dihebohkan dengan penemuan bangkai gajah jantan dengan kondisi batok kepala pecah dan kedua pasang gading nya hilang.
Menurut Rudianto Nainggolan yang merupakan warga RT 02 RW 04 di dusun seluk bongkal Desa Koto Pait, Kecamatan Pinggir kepada celahkotanews Rabu (11/2), memaparkan. Awalnya sekitar pukul 08.00 WIB pagi saya mau pergi menjerat. Pas saya lihat disebelah kiri saya melihat ada seekor gajah jantan dengan kondisi kepala pecah dan sepasang gading hilang.
“Pagi itu saya sangka ada gajah tidur, namun saya heran kenapa kepala nya berdarah dan pecah, pas saya dekati ternyata sudah mati dengan kondisi kepala pecah dan sepasang gading sudah hilang, “ujar Rudi.
Masih Lanjut Rudi, pas saya kasi tau kemasyarakat, masyarakat pun berbondong-bondong mendatangi bangkai gajah jantan tersebut.
Sementara itu menurut laporan BBKSDA gajah jantan yang ditembak mati oleh pelaku diperkirakan berusia 40 tahunan dan diperkirakan berat sekitar 10 ton lebih.
Gajah jantan ini belum dipasangi GPS dan rombongan gajah ini merupakan gajah yang biasa mengintari daerah Giam Siak Kecil (GSK). Pihak Polda Riau yang sedang dalam perjalanan untuk melakukan rekonstruksi kejadian. Terlihat hanya 5 orang pelaku dikawal oleh pihak kepolisian gabungan dari polda Riau dan Mapolsek Pinggir. Kelima pelaku melakoni masing-masing peran dan aksi.
Salah seorang pelaku yang berperan sebagai eksekutor alias penembak melakukan sebanyak dua kali tembakan. Tembakan pertama yang mengenai diatas mata kiri gajah jantan tersebut, setelah pelaku mendekat pelaku kembali melakukan tembakan kedua diatas mata kanan.
Dengan dua kali tembakan gajah jantan yang diperkirakan berusia 40 tahun tersebut langsung mati dan beberapa orang lainnya melakukan perannya dan gading gajah yang diperkirakan sepanjang 1,5 meter berhasil dibawa oleh pelaku dengan menggunakan mobil daihatsu terios berwarna hitam. Kini ke delapan orang pelaku akan dijerat pasal yang berlapis dan harus mempertanggung jawabkan perbuatannya. Belakangan diketahui pelaku merupakan spesialis pemburu gading gajah liar. Sudah banyak aksi pencurian gading gajah yang dilakoni oleh pelaku. Seperti pada beberapa waktu lalu pelaku penembak gajah jantan berhasil membunuh 3 ekor gajah sekalian di kabupaten pelalawan dan pelaku berhasil menjual gading gajah tersebut. (dik/wdy)
