Ia meninggal saat berada di dalam kamar maktab.Sehingga belum diketahui secara pasti penyebab meninggalnya jemaah haji berusia 64 tahun.
Almarhumah Sarinah meninggal pada pukul 05.45 Waktu Arab Saudi.Korban ditemukan sudah meninggal saat berada di Kamar 118, Ruang Nomor 206, Maktab 18, Sektor 2.
“Iya beliau meninggal dunia, penyebabnya belum diketahui,” ujar Kepala Kantor Kementrian Agama Dumai, Syafwan Kamis siang.(07/09)
Menurutnya, jemaah haji asal Dumai sudah menuntaskan rangkaian ibadah haji di Tanah Suci.
Puncaknya mereka menjalani rangkaian puncak haji yakni Arafah, Muzdalifah dan Mina atau Armina.
